This is an accredited course designed for either
- complete beginners holding no professional beauty or waxing qualifications
- beauticians trained in Level 1/2/3/4 Beauty Therapy needing an intimate waxing qualification
- intimate waxing trained beauticians wanting to either up-skill or learn hard wax female intimate waxing (hollywood, brazilian, g-string wax)
Accredited by Associated beauty therapists (ABT)
You will be taught to carry out a hollywood & brazilian waxing on female clients. learn the theoretical knowledge and safety procedures involved in practicing these treatments to the National Occupational Standards, including:
- An understanding of how to recognise contraindications, contra actions and methods of referral
- Health, safety and hygiene considerations
- Consultation techniques
- Use of hot and warm wax
- Aftercare advice
Once Completed to satisfactory standards, students will receive a Wax it Academy certificate in Female Intimate Waxing that is accredited by ABT allowing you to obtain professional insurance.
Our tutor is dedicated to maintaining their knowledge and keeping up to date with the latest treatments and techniques in the ever-changing industry.
The course is a mix of an online e-book so you can study the contents at your own pace and a 1-1 or 1-2 practical in person masterclass. The duration of the practical training is one day and runs from 9.30 am to 5 pm.

Your intimate waxing masterclass manual will be emailed to you within 5 working days or 24 hrs before your class (whichever is sooner) If more than 5 working days have passed and it is not in your junk, email waxitbristol@gmail.com
All classes must be paid for via academy.waxitbristol.co.uk or bank transfer if you live abroad. Cash payments can be made in advance at our studio 666 Fishponds Road, Bristol within 5 working days of booking. *online deposit required*
If you are unable to attend, we will allow you to send another person to your place at no extra cost, but it must be for the date booked. Please notify us of the new attendee’s name before training.
Cancellation by you: Once you have booked and paid in full, if you cancel with:
- More than 30 days before the date of your training: 50% of course fee is payable.
- Less than 30 days of the training date, 100% of the course fee is payable.
Cancellation by wax it academy: We reserve the right to cancel, postpone or otherwise alter the content or date of an event without notice. In this instance, alternative dates will be offered.
All training materials provided to you are confidential information of Wax it Academy and shall be maintained in confidence by you.
Any copyrights, patent rights, trade secrets, trademarks and other intellectual property developed or produced in connection with the training will be the property of Wax it Academy.
